Anthony Fernando
Since joining a City Councillor's team twelve years ago, Anthony has evolved into one of Toronto's leading policy entrepreneurs. He has worn many hats, contributing and learning as a political staffer, public servant at two levels of government, a political candidate and public affairs consultant (lobbyist).
Heather Laird
Heather provides strategic analysis and active support for the Ontario Nonprofit Network's core growth and partnership development, including the stewardship of over 10 provincial action teams and direct oversight of two major collaborative initiatives. She is the Co-Founder of ‘Connect the Sector' group that exists to connect and build opportunities for younger professionals to influence the future of the non-profit and social sector across Ontario.
Jason Marin
Jason is a Costa-Rican born graduate of the University of Toronto who has spent the last five years working or volunteering in the education, health care, and social impact sectors. He currently works as the Project Manager for the CoPilot Network at CatalystsX, where he supports a leadership development program for social innovators and entrepreneurs. Since 2010 he has served on the Board of Directors at Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services (Vice-Chair from 2011-2014), and in 2014 was appointed to the Board of Directors at the Wellesley Institute.
Cathy Winter, Project Leader, DiverseCity onBoard
Cathy is the Project Leader, DiverseCity onBoard at the Global Diversity Exchange, Ted Rogers School of Management, Ryerson University. Cathy is a National Board Member, YMCA Canada and Member of its Governance Committee; a Member of the Board of Directors of the Anne Johnston Health Station. She is a former Member of the Allocations and Agency Services Committee of the United Way of Toronto Board of Trustees, a Member of United Way of Toronto's Agency Review Committee, and serves on United Way of Toronto committees."
